HighMarks Education hosts monthly USCF-rated chess tournaments for students in grades K–12, providing a fun and competitive environment where players can improve their skills and earn official ratings.
Tournaments are organized into sections based on rating levels (U400, U800, U1200, and above) so students of all skill levels can compete fairly. Players participate in multiple timed rounds, with trophies and medals awarded to top finishers in each section.
In addition to our regular tournaments, we also host special Girls-Only USCF Rated Chess Tournaments, designed to encourage more girls to participate in competitive chess in a supportive and welcoming environment. These events help build confidence, community, and a love for the game while giving players the opportunity to compete and improve their ratings.
